Day Centre
We have a Day Centre which is a purposefully designed and adapted building to engage our service users and enable them to live a more fulfilling life and promote personal development.
The purpose of the day centre is to: –
- Improve service users’ existing skills or learn something new.
- Promote their social inclusion to be part of the wider community.
- Develop their social skills, daily living skills, confidence, and self-esteem.
- Prepare service users to eventually go on to other challenges.
- Maintain the enjoyment of their passion.
Our programmes at the Day Centre are organised to meet identified individual needs, within these four domains: Unstructured Engagement for Social Networking (UES, Entertainment, Recreation and Relaxation (ERR), Learning and Development (L&D) and Health and well-being (HWB)
The wide range of activities in these domains is broad enough to enable our service users to promote their overall sense of achievement and improve the quality of their lives.
