Learning and Training Hub
We promote life-long learning and encourage our service users to use our learning and training hub facilities for life skills training, learn new skills or maintain residual skills, interest or hobbies.
Some of our service users struggle with a highly structured and regimented programmes within a large group of people, and are often excluded of left behind, despite showing the willingness to participate. Our learning and Training Hub has become a valuable alternative to these individuals to regain confidence, stability and maintain consistency
Our facilities provide access to a wide range of easy-read educational resources, and a place for our service users to be supported to learn in an informal environment suited to their circumstances. Our informal programmes of activities are sufficiently stimulating and engages our service users in a manner that gives them confidence and a sense of achievement. The learning hub is equipped with materials, suitable learning aids and modest technology and electronic items with both physical and virtual components that provide informal opportunities for learners to come together with their peers, in a collegiate milieu.
