Service Users Safety Management Toolkit

In Reeson care, our service users’ safety comes first, and we always ensure their safety. Hence our tag phrase; safety first, safety always.

The toolkit is our in-house comprehensive practice manual for the management of our service safety, co-produced with our stakeholders, after carefully analysing the service user’s journey through the day/night. We own the intellectual property rights of this toolkit.

The scope of the manual is extensive, it begins with a succinct clarification of the active terminology around the subject of safety (Harm and Hazard), before detailing service users’ perspective of safety, what it means for them, and what form safety takes. It went further to identify how service user might be at risk, the critical times when they may be at risk, the activities that might expose them to greater risk, and concludes with an elaborate prompt for harm reduction/minimisation in all common practices in our care settings.

This manual is a crucial reference material shared in staff induction, team meetings and 1:1 keyworker sessions with service users.
